Touchingly sad vid, Its the same from a cat’s eyes. But it’s expected from a such a throw away society as ours has become. The only thing most people care about is them selves. The American society as a whole has let Honor, Self Reliance and the Moral Fiber that in the past made us great slip away.
Thank you for taking the time and for caring enough to make this wonderful video. I have adopted eight dogs and many cats in my lifetime. I wish I could have taken in more but they tend to live a long time when they have a home and are taken good care of! Most of the time I have had two or three dogs at a time and I have loved them all and mourned them when they were gone. I hope your lovely video inspires more people to adopt a pet, rather than buy them from breeders. Best wished to you.
This video makes people feel sad, but this is just for a moment. It is dogs, cats and many other animals the ones that feel endless sadness; they suffer because of selfish people who leave them behind without caring about their lives. Currently and for more than 3 years, I’ve lived with two dogs that had been thrown to the street and to the garbage, but that fortunately survived after my Mom and I took them to our home and loved them! These dogs are wonderful, I love knowing and seeing with my own eyes that they are fine, have a place to live, have their own beds and are MY FAMILY! People MUST stop destroying animals and struggling to get exotic pets and/or specifics breeds. All animals are stunning and their lives are priceless; they deserve respect, love, gratitude, all our attention and interest for their preservation and a dignified as well proper life style!
As the proud owner of two rescues, I can say without a doubt that whoever decided to give up my babies is missing out. They are truly the best friends I could ever ask for, and every day I’ve overwhelmed by the love and joy they share with me. So thankyou, whoever you heartless bastards are that gave up my Lizzie and my Vito. Without you, I wouldn’t have these guys, and you’re just going to have to live with the fact that you lost the opportunity to have the love of a lifetime.
I could never abandon my cat. She is the most loyal friend I have. Never judges, never ignores me, and always comes running to greet me at the door. And she ALWAYS wants attention. How people can just abandon pets is beyond me. I can understand if there are circumstances that they have to give them up, illness, having to move somewhere suddenly, but to just give a pet up because you lose interest, that is cruel.
Animals are so much better than humans. Mine does not judge me, hate me because of how much I make or acts like she is better than me. She is just happy that I give her good food, attention and a warm bed to sleep in. And to get those headbutts and purrs means I am doing a good job of loving her.
Hard toi see through the tears. Ditto to the comments above. Am almost 66, have a “life list” of well over 40 dogs, my friends, part of my family. Due to my age, I am down to 6 rescues now. Used to keep 10 -12, housedogs, loved and cared for. Many breeds, and no particular breed. Must admit, my deepest friendship was my big red Dobie. All beutiful loving souls. I should have quite a pack waiting for me on the other side, plus a small herd of horses. Can’t go to a shelter – it tears me apart. Please, if you can and have love in your heart, adopt a pet. I am so blessed to have had all their love over the years. They rescue your soul.
I agree with and feel the same as the above comments. I have to believe and trust that there are more good people than bad when it comes to animal neglect and cruelty; otherwise my faith in humanity would crumble. Bless all those animal lovers who take it upon themselves to make animal lives a better place to live. God’s blessings to all.
Makes such a refreshing change to see that someone cares for these beautiful dogs. You are an amazing person and one day you will be thanked. Keep doing as your doing you will surely go a long way. Im off now to grab a tissue and to send your link to all my contacts. Thank you for sharing this great video.
So sad… The worst part in my eyes, is the fur babies, get more love and attention , from the poor portion of our society. They are charished friends. Many times it’s the wealthier part of the population, that treats them as if they a disposable. And or exploited… If any thing makes me angry, you just hit the target, dead center…
i was raised with pitbulls my whole life i know what tendancys they have that are bad but i coudnt imagin or think of any of my pitts having to go threw this. i know this, no dog deserves to have an onwer that feels the sick need to watch them rip or be riped apart lick some mentaly insane person
Just found this video and it sucks because we have to put one of our dogs down soon and i don’t want to not only because i love her so dearly but also because she was my moms dog and i feel like we’re betraying her by putting the dog down. It isn’t fair.
As the owner of a little non pedigree rescue dog my family has had since it was weeks old and who is now 15 and I think struggling with life, although she has her spurts of energy this brought tears to my eyes. Can’t imagine life without my Candy
