Gay Marriage is Now Legal in California!!! About time they get their Head out of their asses!
Im Soo Freaking happy, yet I am kinda upset at the same time… I am upset that we can to EVEN have these votes and second thoughts about gay marriage. And it confuses me how They keep taking away our rights and giving them back? STOP BEING INDIAN GIVERS! The votes were VERY close, they were both nearly 50/50. so Almost half of people are going to be pissed about this.

I am going to wear my rainbows without fear today, but I must say sometimes you HAVE to watch out. Because even thou we got one state or all 50, doesn’t mean everyone will agree with it. Slavery isn’t allow in our states anymore but their is still racism, it’s our choice to know how to handle it and become better people then those with hatred. We need to stand together with gays and straights to change this world the right way.

I agree with you %100. Unfortunately, people in this country are quick to greedily accept their freedoms and take them for granted, while at the same time trying to strip the freedoms of anyone different from them.
We all need to do every little thing we can do to try and quell prejudice, and try to create an accepting, open-minded world. A world where gays, bi’s, straights, asexuals, catholics, pagans, muslims, jews, atheists, protestants, whites, blacks, asians, mexicans, and et cetera can coexist. It’s a far shot, but we can do it, or at the very least, set the foundation for future generations to build upon.

=D I live in California and I haven’t heard about this yet. I’m so happy! I was excited the first time they made gay marrige legal over here, but I was royally pissed to learn that prop 8 was taking it away again. Now that it’s been overturned I can sleep a little easier. Who cares about the people who will be upset, it’s not like thier rights are being taken away…
ahhh!! when i first heard about Prop 8 back when it was to make Gay Marriage ilegal i was sooo pissed when it was deemed ilegal but i am extremely excited that its been over turned!! taking that right away from people was not needed i really dont see why theres people that get to decide the lives of other people, Thats not right
